Assistive Technology Training

Funding Resource
The Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) is a source of funding for Federal employees to use for ITG Training courses.

The following was taken from the CAP website:
CAP Logo "CAP provides assistive technology and services to people with disabilities, Federal managers, supervisors, IT professionals, and Wounded Services Members.' We buy it, we pay for it, we get it to the users, it's just that simple.' - Dinah Cohen, CAP Director."

ITG offers an extensive range of training opportunities for both employers and users of Assistive Technology (AT) including:

Assistive Technology Training
Individual training for use of assistive technologies in conjunction with mainstream technology needed for work, education or personal use. Training is available anywhere within the United States and is conducted by expert trainers.

Training with Accessibility in the Forefront!
These two day courses provide expert instruction for the user of Assistive Technology on producing professional quality documents with popular Microsoft Office programs. These four courses are held in the ITG Training Center and will allow each student to operate the same Assistive Technology they would be using in the workplace.
