Quality Management Systems

The ITG Quality Management System, (QMS), represents a convergence of international standards and quality practices as defined by ISO, ITIL and CMMI related specifications. As a software engineering company, ITG has infused the principal functions of the QMS into application modules that comprise the Common Enterprise Resource (CENTRE), a thin-client, standards-based, IT Service management system. This powerful software product has enabled ITG to receive ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005, ISO 27001:2005 registrations, CMMI Level 3 Appraisals and multiple ITIL certifications.

ITG Best Practices certifications were granted for company-wide performance in all departments:

  • CMMI Level 3 Appraisal Scope: "Software Engineering and Systems Engineering"
  • ISO 9001:2008 Registration Scope: "Design, Service, and Repair of IT Equipment, Primarily for the Federal Government"
  • ISO 20000-1:2005 Registration Scope: "Service Call Management for Customers"

Quality & Performance Methodologies

ITG has established a Project Management Center of Excellence, which utilizes the company's Best Practice foundation to manage continual improvement and inter-departmental cooperation to achieve strategic business goals across the enterprise. The purpose of the Center of Excellence at ITG is to assist internal departments and clients in meeting the requirements of Quality Standards and Models by providing training, consulting and appraisal services. These standards and models include ISO, CMMI, ITIL, PMP, and ADA.

ITG is a member of the American Society for Quality, and a Partner to the Carnegie Mellon resident Software Engineering Institute (SEI) for CMMI training and appraisal services. Our streamlined methodologies enable our clients to benefit from improved performance in significantly less time.
