ITG successfully completes ISO 27001:2005 certification process

Integration Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG) is pleased to announce that it has achieved ISO 27001:2005 Registration as attested by passing the BSI relevant registration audit. The intensive research and development effort began in the fourth quarter of 2007 and culminated on October 20, 2008, with the successful completion of the registration audit.
ITG, an IT Service Management Company, is CMMI level 3 appraised, as well as the holder of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 20000 certifications, one of a few U.S. companies to have achieved these quality designations. The 27001:2005 registration confirms that the ITG processes follow a comprehensive security related set of procedures on every IT project and for the Company at-large .
In his address to company staff, clients and supply chain partners, Michael P. Angelakis, Integration Technologies Group Inc., President and CEO said “the attainment of the ISO IT Security certification demonstrates the company’s commitment to quality, concern for internal and external sensitive records and our dedication to continual, independently verifiable improvement”.
Attainment of the ISO 27001:2005 certification was made possible by the incorporation of compliance features in the Company’s flagship software product ITG CENTRE.
ITG CENTRE is a world class, SLA based, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, providing state of the art capabilities across the entire process spectrum of an enterprise. CENTRE offers modules for Incident, Problem, Change, Project, Reporting, Supplier and Configuration Management, as well as support for HR, Time Sheet, Measurements and Analysis, Software/Requirements Development, Inventory, Purchasing, Logistics and Contracts subsystems.
CENTRE incorporates compliance features that support ISO 9001:2008, 20000-1:2005, 27001:2005 and CMMI 3 process areas. Further, CENTRE is certified for four ITIL V2 and six ITIL V3 processes.
CENTRE is built with an MS SQL database back-end and is available with My SQL versions and an N-tier architecture that uses web-based technology. All functions of CENTRE are as operable in a LAN environment as they are on a distant browser. CENTRE is scalable, and can be coupled with “Bridge Server” utilities and interfaced to exchange data with any ODBC, or flat file systems.
Additionally, ITG demonstrates their commitment to quality with the establishment of a new business unit, Quality, Standards & Performance Solutions. The core competency of this business unit is focused on assisting clients with quality systems training, implementation, and certification to these various quality models and standards. ITG’s hands on knowledge and experience combined with its practical approach towards implementation aids clients in understanding and demystifying these quality standards and simplifying the certification process.
