Spectrum Systems obtains ISO Certification

Spectrum Systems, Inc. Obtains ISO Certification with Assistance from Integration Technologies Group (ITG) Best Practices IT Services

Spectrum Systems, an application life cycle management and information assurance solution provider, has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification with the assistance of Integration Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG) Best Practices IT consulting services. “Spectrum pursued the ISO 9001:2008 certification to ensure that optimum practices and procedures are in place to manage our business, and so that we have a mechanism for continuously monitoring and improving it,” said Ronald Segal, president, Spectrum Systems, Inc. “In today’s highly competitive environment, this internationally recognized certification provides our customers and business partners with an extra level of comfort when doing business with Spectrum.”

The process of obtaining certification begins with a comprehensive evaluation of a company’s internal processes, which often leads to significant process improvements. “This certification process forces our organization to become more organized and the process trained us to document everything.

Plan-Do-Check-Act is what we were taught by ITG”, Segal explained. “ By following the requirements ISO 9001:2008, we’re happy to report that we now have a defined Quality Management System, indexes for controlled documents and records, an internal Review Board, internal auditors and new ways to measure our level of quality. All of this translates into an ability to deliver higher quality products and services to our customer base.”
